• There is no age limots for admission.

• A Graduate Degree in the subject offered in the B.Ed. course from any recognised university or equivalent there to.
• Candidates, Who have studied more than one subject as major subject in part-III, shall select any one of these and apply for that subject division in the B.Ed. course.
• O.C. camdidates should have secured at least 50%, B.C. 45%, M.B.C. 43%, S.C./S.T. 40% marks in the subjects, which they opt for in the B.Ed. course. For handicapped candidates a minimum of pass in the selected subjects is sufficient.
• For Commerce and Economics candidates,Postgradute qualification is an eligibility criterion.

       Only candidates who have studied Englifh Literature, Tamil Literrature, B.Lit(tamil), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History, Geography, Commerce, Economics and Comouter Science as their major subjects can apply.

       Further, candidates who have stuided Applied Mathematics, Applied Chemistry, Bio Chemistre, Applied Physics, Bio Technology, Environment Science and Microbiology as major subjects can also apply.
